    Tuesday 07th February 2012

You often hear the phrase ‘If you don’t ask, you don’t get’, well that is just the case with the Carrick Club’s latest announcement regarding their Two Day Motocross status in 2012.

The turn of the New Year saw MRA clubs announce their line-up of dates and events ahead of the new season, but much to the surprise of many, the popular CDMCC Two Day Motocross was missing from the calendar.

Those who were around the club during last year would have seen particularly stressful times for its working core members. Promoting four different disciplines of off road motorcycling in a six month spell including seven grasstracks, two supercross, a two day motocross at a new venue and a cross country certainly took its toll on the volunteers within the club, most of which help with the club on top of a full-time working week!

  • Membership Returns Notice

First of all we would like to thank everyone who has already sent their membership in for the 2012 season, hopefully it will keep coming in steadily as we try to increase the membership from last year. Over the next few weeks you will be added to the club mobile list along with the club e-mail list if you have signed up for these options. Licence forms should have been returned promptly to date but if you have been waiting a while then get in contact with us now.

Our Secretary, Paul Ervine will be 'out of office' between Friday 3rd February through to Friday 10th February so will be unable to return any licence forms between these dates so make sure you get your forms to him before then to avoid delay in the return.

Of course if you wish to still send your forms during these dates, feel free and they will be tended to when Paul is back.

Any queries regarding membership should be sent to paulervine@carrickfergusmcc.co.uk
