After taking 24 hours to reflect on yesterday’s adult & youth event at Six Mile Water, the club would like to thank all that turned out to support the event and also to those who helped make it happen.
The track was in great shape and provided some excellent racing in all classes. MTA Expert Race three was probably the best of the lot and some of the best 8 laps you’ll witness all year! It was also great to welcome visiting rider Ashley Greedy over from Wales but a special thanks must go to the following people:
Landowners – Michael & Ingrid Scott
Race Commentator – Roy Neill
Event Sponsors – Norman Watt Motorcycles, W.J Scarlett & Son DIY & MTA Process Components
Programme Sponsors – Stephen Russell Motocross & Islandbawn Stores
Lap Scorers & Chequered Flag – Sandra McCormick, Victoria Thompson & Sara
Signing on - Susan Gordon Woodside
The First Aid Personnel – May Kinkaid & the British Red Cross teams
Machinery Drivers – Jonathan, Gary & Co.
Chief Starter– Stephen Martin
LJ’s Catering Services
Videographer – Neil Tnine McKeown of T9 Images Photography And PR
And finally, the Riders, Spectators & Officials
Hopefully we haven’t missed anyone above, apologies if we have. Race report & photos will be on our website www.carrickfergusmcc.co.uk shortly.
