It's been a stressful week at times but thankfully the weather hasn't been as bad as first anticipated in the lead up to tomorrows event. The track itself has been 100% good to go from Wednesday evening (even with the heavy rain up until then) and while the paddock caused a few more problems (these problem areas are now taped off) it is also now ready to host the first Carrickfergus & District Motorcycle Club Grasstrack of 2015.

Metcheck is giving dry all day tomorrow which should make for an excellent day of racing and any rain tonight is expected to drain off the hillside circuit with no major issues. With any luck you will need a pair of full factory sunglasses around lunchtime!! Remember to pack a pair with your suncream.

ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON THE DAY FOR ALL CLASSES but please be sure to arrive early as this can make for quite a lengthy signing on process. Competitor signing on and scrutineering will take place between 7.30am and 9.00am. Practice will start at 9.30am sharp.

A large crowd of spectators is also expected and those wishing to come along for racing should arrive around 11am if you want to catch the full days schedule. LJ's Diner will be on site from 7am and parking will be available at the circuit. Race programmes were collected today and will be distributed free of charge to spectators while stocks last.

The event is signposted from Sandyknowes roundabout using Moto-cross signs. If you fail to spot them just head for Ballyclare. The track is adjacent to the main Templepatrick Road and the postcode is BT39 9RN.
