JORDAN SCOTT SIGNS UP FOR EX16!

Carrickfergus & District Motorcycle Club are delighted to confirm that Jordan Scott (HTM Husqvarna) will be racing at this year's EnduroCross on July 21st in Glenarm. News of Scott's confirmed entry is a big boost for the 2016 event with Scott very much a favourite among the Dalriada Festival crowd.

Jordan finished at the helm of the very first Dalriada Festival EnduroCross back in 2013 where he clinched victory ahead visiting Italian rider, Jacopo Cerutti in the Premier Class.

2014 was a different story though with Scott crashing out when battling with fellow Newtownards man, Gordon Crockard in the fast and furious Head to Head races. A shoulder injury was a result of the crash and forced Scott to unfortunately withdraw from the remainder of the evening, leaving him off the podium.

In 2015, Jordan pulled out all the stops and made his return from injury in Glenarm, despite not being at full fitness. He managed to take home second place overall behind the impressive Graeme Irwin, an unbelievable effort considering the circumstances but we're sure everyone else, like us were left wondering how a fit Jordan Scott would have got on against Irwin that night.

Scott is looking forward to taking to the track at full fitness in 2016 and one things for sure, come July 21st, there will be no man more hungry to take home that winner's trophy. Make sure you have the date in your diary and in the meantime, keep one eye on www.carrickfergusmcc.co.uk along with our Facebook Page as we contine to build up to EX16 over the coming weeks.
