The spectacular HTM Off Road EnduroCross will return for it’s fifth year at Glenarm’s Dalriada Festival in two and a half weeks’ time and preparations are well underway to make this illustrious the most entertaining yet.
The event which is scheduled for Thursday 20th July, will once again be held the site of Glenarm’s Old Quarry, set up on the hillside overlooking the picturesque coastal village. Entries are now available for Premier, Clubman and Veteran competitors that wish to race at the 2017 event in both a paper and online format at www.carrickfergusmcc.co.uk.
Promoters, Carrickfergus & District Motorcycle Club are encouraging as many as possible to come along and race this festival event with a unique atmosphere. Entries will close at the latest on Tuesday 18th July at 8pm so competitors should enter as soon as possible to guarantee their place behind the gate. Numbers in each class are limited due to time and track constraints so may close sooner if the maximum number is reached.
The circuit layout will remain the same in 2017 but as is the case with every year, the obstacles that make up the course will be altered to freshen things up and make the racing even more exciting. The introduction of ‘chicken runs’ a couple of years back was aimed at increasing clubman & veteran class entries and we can also confirm that these will also be used again at this year’s event for the same reasons.
2015 was CDMCC’s biggest EnduroCross to date and hopefully with the help of the Premier, Clubman and Veteran racers along with another bumper crowd of spectators; everyone can come together to make 2017 the best one yet!
