Carrickfergus & District Motorcycle Club are pleased to confirm the schedule of events for our Charity Grasstrack this Friday night at Gleno in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support NI.
The event will be a great opportunity for adult and youth riders to get out on their bikes in a relaxed atmosphere and raise some money for charity at the same time.
We have a number of ‘different’ race formats scheduled for the night which will get underway at 4.00pm with the first practice and for those that cannot make the first practice session, we will be reopening sign on and running a second practice later on (after a short dinner break) to give those people an opportunity to get racing too.
The schedule for the evening is subject to change but our current planned format will be as follows:
It’s sure to be a fantastic evening at McCormick’s Farm in Gleno for all that want to get involved with many other fundraising activities planned for the evening including a BBQ, Raffle & Bouncy Castles while people are even encouraged to come in fancy dress if they like.
The club will be asking for a minimum donation of £20 per rider entered on the night and there will be no admission fee at the gate. Donations from others will be most welcome and donation buckets will be in operation.
Thank you to all that have got on board so far by sponsoring ballot prizes including Watt Motorcycles, Magilligan MX Park, HTM Off Road, GOMX, S&Co. Flowers & Agnew Recovery. C&DMCC will also be adding to the list of prizes by adding an entry for each of our upcoming Grasstracks that are due to be held on Tuesday 2nd July and Wednesday 3rd July at the same venue.
Please spread the word and make every effort to attend, we hope that it will be a great night for all and that we can make a good donation at the end of it to Macmillan Cancer Support NI.
