Following the big news released over the weekend that a brand new venue for the 2015 Carrickfergus & District Motorcycle Club Grasstrack Promotions had been sourced, event planning got underway at a very well attended Club Meeting in Dobbins Inn Hotel, Carrickfergus last night.

At the time of writing, there is just 38 days to go until the first event at Six Mile Water, Ballyclare gets underway with a absolutely bumper schedule of racing entertainment that will include not only Adult & Youth Solos, but Adult Quad and Sidecar Classes, it will be mega!

Work on the circuit and venue layout is has already started with our track guys brainstorming potential layouts that will maximise the undulating terrain to provide the riders with a fast and exciting track. We may even update you in the build up weeks on their progress to give you a sneak preview of what will be in store come 9th May.

The shortened preparation time from securing the venue to race one has made it a challenge for us when it has come to sponsorship but this item is now a priority and at last nights meeting, we worked out what we think is a very inticing sponsorship plan for businesses looking to associate their name with these popular events.
